CoinShares Weekly Report: Digital asset investment products saw a net inflow of $3.75 billion last week, with Ethereum accounting for 77% of the weekly inflow.
According to CoinShares' latest weekly report, global digital asset investment products saw a net inflow of $3.75 billion last week, marking the fourth-largest weekly net inflow in history.
Ethereum saw a weekly inflow of $2.87 billion, accounting for 77% of the total inflow last week, driving its year-to-date (YTD) inflows to a record $11.094 billion, significantly surpassing the inflow ratio of Bitcoin.
In addition, Solana and XRP recorded inflows of $176.5 million and $125.9 million last week, while LTC and Ton experienced net outflows of $400,000 and $1 million respectively.
It is worth noting that last week, the inflow was exceptionally concentrated, with almost all inflows directed towards the digital asset investment products under iShares. In addition, as the price of Bitcoin hit a new high on August 13, its total assets under management (AuM) reached a historic record of $244 billion.
From the perspective of country/region distribution, the United States still accounts for nearly $3.73 billion in weekly inflows, holding a 99% market share; followed by Canada, Hong Kong, and Australia with weekly net inflows of $33.7 million, $20.9 million, and $12.1 million respectively; while Sweden and Brazil experienced weekly net outflows of $10.6 million and $49.9 million respectively.
In summary, the Ethereum market performance is particularly outstanding, with a weekly inflow totaling nearly 2.87 billion dollars. In contrast, the inflow scale for Bitcoin is relatively small, with a weekly inflow total of 552 million dollars. This seems to indicate that altcoins represented by Ethereum are gaining more favor in the market.
Overall, despite relatively small inflows into Bitcoin last week and several weeks of relative sluggishness, the continuation of weekly net inflows last week indicates that investors remain highly interested in cryptocurrencies.
