The majority of the gains are made during the last part of the crypto cycle. Especially on alts. Yes, the real money is made from the bear market buying and holding for years, but the biggest moves happen at the very end.
I don't think this time will be any different. We could even see this on the major local highs the market created this cycle. All of these saw a lot of altcoin action pulling multiples right before.
That's why these times of altcoin outperformance are great to be in, but also a warning signal that you should be cautious. Because when things get too crazy, it's often not sustainable for more than a few weeks or months at best.
Additionally, these late stage rallies are often paired with big fast flushes in between. So if you're using any leverage, be careful, because these wicks can easily take you out and reverse straight away.
