The U.S. Trade Representative's Office has extended certain exemptions from tariffs under Section 301 on China.

On June 1, local time May 31, the Office of the United States Trade Representative announced an extension of the exemption period in the 301 investigation regarding China's actions, policies, and practices in technology transfer, intellectual property, and innovation. These exemptions were originally set to expire on May 31, 2025, and have now been extended to August 31, 2025. (Jin10 )
