Tariffs complicate the Federal Reserve's interpretation of economic data, making it difficult to make any predictions.

According to Mars Finance, Janacevich, the chief portfolio strategist at the French Foreign Trade Bank, stated in a report that the Federal Reserve's situation is quite complicated. Interpreting economic data will be challenging, as the impacts of tariffs, immigration, and government layoffs will distort the underlying trends. Making any type of prediction could be incorrect, as the variances in these factors can lead to significant outcomes. Some advocate for preemptively lowering interest rates, as waiting for data to be released may mean the Federal Reserve is already behind the curve. However, it is expected that the Federal Reserve will not lower interest rates in its policy decision on Wednesday, but the likelihood of a rate cut in subsequent meetings is increasing. (Jin10)
